Imtiaz Ali to work yet again with Shahid Kapoor after 10 long years

The last time director Imtiaz Ali worked with Shahid Kapoor, the duo gave us 'Jab We Met' and we all know what a huge box-office hit that was, right? And while we've just finished watching the re-runs of the epic movie, we've just received some great news! The duo is set to reunite after a decade and we couldn't be gladder about it!
Imtiaz is set for a reunion with Shahid to create another love story yet again. The project is scheduled to start filming sometime next year, first in India and also at several locations abroad. A source associated with the upcoming project stated, “The film kicks off in Mumbai in April and will be followed by an extensive shoot, both in India and abroad. At the moment, Imtiaz is still looking for a leading lady to be cast opposite Shahid for this romcom".
In the past, Shahid had admitted that his role in 'Jab We Met' remains probably his most under-rated performance yet and that he rarely gets to play a silent, layered and rather complex character, like the one he played in the blockbuster. Shahid even came out with all praises for the director saying, “I had a great time doing the film. Imtiaz Ali was still new, who was to know that he would turn out to be the brilliant filmmaker he is today”. We can't wait to see how much more awesomeness this dynamic duo are capable of.
