In a tragic event, K-pop singer Sulli has been found dead at her home in South Korea

K-pop singer Choi Jin-ri, better known by her stage name Sulli made her debut in the industry as a child actress. Since then, she went on to debut as a member of South Korean girl group f(x) in 2009 and had made quite a name for herself. In a tragic turn of events, the singer and actress was found dead in her South Korea apartment in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam in the Gyeonggi province of South Korea on October 14.

She was only 25. While the officials did confirm her death, the cause and further details haven't been revealed to the audience yet. As per reports, Sulli's manager was trying to contact her but after failing to get in touch with her, he decided to go to her apartment where he found her dead. The singer had faced online abuse multiple times due to which she had decided to take a break in 2014. While her break was only supposed to last a year, in 2015 she quit the group to pursue her acting career.

Even so, she resumed working on music in 2018 after three years and made a feature in Dean's 2018 single Dayfly. She also made her solo debut with the album Goblin in 2019. She began working in K-dramas in 2005 and had even featured in two films in 2014 and 2017. The singer had also spoken about battling with panic disorder while she was making an appearance on a reality show. She had said, Even close people left me. I was hurt by them and felt there was nobody who understands me, which made me fall apart."
