Recently reports were doing rounds about ace filmmaker Vishal Vishal Bhardwaj signing on Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone for his next based on a chapter of Hussain Zaidi's book 'Mafia Queens of Mumbai'. This will be the second time that Deepika and Irrfan will collaborate on a project after the two starred together in 'Piku'.

A leading online portal met Irrfan and asked him if he was rather excited to work with the actress the second time. To this, Irrfan said, "Very very excited. Our relationship has grown and we have known each other for long. It has sustained on an understanding which is about telling a story. We have a great time discussing stories. We love each other. I love his drive and hunger to tell stories and he loves my work. So it is a kind of mutual excitement. I am really looking forward to that experience. 'Haider' was just a cameo but it flourished because of his vision. I loved that."

However, the actor didn't want to talk much about the project as an official announcement is yet to be made. Irrfan added, "I think let the official announcement happen. I will be able to talk only when it is finalised. Apart from that, I had a great time working with Deepika Padukone and I am always waiting for a chance to work with her again. Haven't had a better experience with a co-star than with Deepika. It was the happiest time I have had."
