Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s relationship is no secret. Even though the duo have not made any official announcements about their relationship, their on and off status has been making the headlines for quite some time. Recently, there were rumours that the lovebirds had split up and of course, this news spread like wildfire. It looks like all is not well between the two stars. A source close to them has revealed that the two went for a date night a few days ago at a high-end restaurant in the city, which ended up with them having a heated argument. With their upcoming magnum opus ‘Padmavati’, just around the corner, there are speculations if all of this is just a publicity stunt.

Earlier this year, when rumours of their break-up had been making the rounds, a source had revealed, “Ranveer and Deepika have been together for five years. They are no longer a couple. There was no bitter parting. They just drifted apart. They both tried to make it work with the help of their supportive families who wanted to ensure that the relationship made it to the altar. That was one of the problems with the relationship. Ranveer wanted a marriage. Deepika completely opposed the idea, arguing that marriage would affect her career at its prime.”
