Recently, it was announced that Bollywood actress Richa Chadha was to feature in a music video by singer Shibani Kashyap. The new single reportedly encourages people to break free from the shackles of social media. International pop-sensation Pink had also sung a song titled 'Stupid Girls' back in 2006 which condemns sexism. Parallels can easily be drawn between Richa's new number and Pink's song. The actress spoke to a leading entertainment media portal and revealed that a scene from her number is inspired by a still from Pink's track.

"Pink's music is iconic. I love this particular song. It is empowering in its attempt to urge women to think about beauty, vanity and social media. A particular moment in her song, I thought, would make for an appropriate fit in our number too. We've rehashed it to suit our track," she said. Richa also added that she wants women to be more watchful of the "disastrous impact" that social media has. "Our generation spends more time online than any other. So, it is important to educate in a fun way," she concluded.
