It’s Deepika’s ‘Padmavati’ vs Amitabh’s ‘102 Not Out’ this December 1

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’ and Umesh Shukla’s ‘102 Not Out’ are two of the most awaited movies of 2017. While one stars the magnetic trio Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, the other will reunite superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor on the silver screen after 26 long years.
The interesting part is that both the movies are slated to release on the same date. December 1 will witness a major clash at the Box Office with the two movies competing against each other. However, one should also remember that both the movies are of two completely different genres. While ‘Padmavati’ is a period film, ‘102 Not Out’ is a comedy drama with Rishi playing Bachchan’s son and how their repartee changes the course of the film.
