The issue dates back to 19th April 2009 when Sanjay Dutt was busy campaigning for the Samajwadi Party in Barabanki. Whilst doing so the actor got into trouble for allegedly saying that he would like to give BSP chief Mayawati a 'jaadu ki jhappi', a catchphrase that was used in his movie 'Munnabhai MBBS' which released in 2003. The actor is no new-bee when it comes to controversies and this one just adds to that list.

A case regarding the same was filed against the actor for using obscene words in public as also for insulting the modesty of a woman. The local court of Barabanki, where the incident took place, has recently issued a fresh summon regarding the remarks made by the actor against the BSP chief. Additional chief judicial magistrate Sanjay Yadav has issued the summon to the actor who is now scheduled to appear in court on the 16th of November.

Stay tuned to know more about the matter...
