‘Jagga Jasoos’ and ‘Sarkar 3’ on sale?

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s untitled next, tentatively called ‘The Ring’, minted 125 crores even before hitting the theatres, after its worldwide theatrical rights were sold to Mr. Narendra Hirawat of NH Studioz. And now, if reports are to be believed, Anurag Basu’s much-awaited ‘Jagga Jasoos’, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, is all set to go on sale as well.

Reports say that the makers want to offload the film at a whopping sum of 130 crores, which is higher than even that of Shah Rukh and Anushka’s film. The film, which kicked off in 2014 and got massively delayed, and was finally set to release on 7th April. However, Basu decided to reshoot some chunks of the film and, therefore, the release date got pushed even further.

And it’s not just ‘Jagga Jasoos’, but also Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Sarkar 3’ which has gone on sale. A source close to the film revealed, “The film is in the market for sale. We hear that the asking price for the film toplining Amitabh Bachchan is Rs 38 crore.” Helmed by Ram Gopal Varma, this film will also hit the theatres on 7th April.
