Janvhi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter to star together in 'Sairat' remake?

There has been a lot of speculation surrounding Sridevi's daughter, Janvhi Kapoor's Bollywood debut. However, according to recent reports, Janvhi is all set to make her debut opposite Shahid Kapoor's brother, Ishaan Khatter in the Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster 'Sairat'.

While there were reports that Dharma Productions was looking out for the female lead for 'Sairat' remake, many believed that Janvhi couldn't be considered for the part owing to her uber-glamourous persona. However, considering mum Sridevi's acting chops, many believe that Janvhi will be able to pull off the part.'
The film will see the much-in-news pair of Ishaan Khatter and Janvhi Kapoor, who are allegedly dating come together. Produced by Dharma Productions', the film will be helmed by 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' director Shashank Khaitan and will go on floors soon.
While the 'Sairat' Hindi remake will mark the Bollywood debut of Janvhi Kapoor, this film will be Ishaan's second Bollywood venture after Majid Majidi's 'Beyond The Clouds'.
