Jimmy Sheirgill on Sanjay Dutt: It’s an absolute pleasure to work with someone like him

Actor Jimmy Shergill who has worked with Sanjay Dutt before in ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S’, ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ and ‘Eklavya: The Royal Guard’ will be teaming up with the actor for the third part of ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster’. The actor has the most wonderful things to say about Sanjay Dutt as he has done three films with the rock star before.


Talking about working with Sanjay Dutt the actor said, “With Sanju Baba, the entire theme of the film is going to be royal. It’s an absolute pleasure to work with someone like him. I have always had a great time working with him.”


He further added, “Working with him has made me realise that whenever you are with him, you just keep on laughing. He makes the entire shooting process so seamless, and you wouldn’t even realise sometimes that you are even working. I have worked with him in the two ‘Munna Bhai’ films, and even ‘Eklavya’. I only remember the constant laughter that both of us shared while we were shooting for each film. This one wasn’t much different either.”


Talking about his character in ‘Saheb Biwi and Gangster’ he said, “In the first film, Saheb was a bit like a gangster; then in the second, he became more political, something like Hitler. In this [installment], you will see a new dimension to his character. Even though it’s the same name and everything, he is going to seem like a new character. You will see him in jail, where he was at the end of the second film.”


He further added, “It takes a bit of time to get into character, so I took one or two days to get in sync but after that, everything kept falling into place.”
