Kajol will only work with younger actors if they are ‘more manly and less boyish’

Kajol is among the finest actresses the Indian fraternity has ever seen. While she has contributed to cinema with some of the most iconic movies alongside the most celebrated actors of all time, she has never starred opposite an actor relatively younger than her.
Actresses like Kareena Kapoor Khan (Ki & Ka) and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil) have sizzled opposite younger actors on screen, and recently Kajol too was asked if she would like to work opposite a younger co-star. To this, she said, “It would depend on the script. If the script demands it, I would not be averse to it. I’m completely okay with it. Films today have different subjects and directors are dealing with them with a different sensibility and maturity, which is great.” However, she did add this, “Whoever from the younger generation is cast opposite me, should be more manly and less boyish. I won’t be naming anyone at all.”
