Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan reminisce about producer Chandra Haasan at his memorial meet
Recently at the memorial meet of producer Chandra Haasan, superstar Rajinikanth revealed that Kamal Haasan is one of the angriest person he knows. The '2.0' actor said that while Kamal Haasan is the angriest person, his brother Chandra, who passed away recently, was the one who could keep his temper in check. Chandra Haasan, 82, died of cardiac arrest last month in London. Chandra Haasan was an integral part of Kamal Haasan's production house, Raaj Kamal Films International.

During his speech at the memorial meet, Rajinikanth said, "I have never seen a hot-tempered person like Kamal Haasan. You all have seen only ten percent of his anger. I have witnessed it 100 percent. That's why I used to be careful with him. Charu (brother) anna can pacify him. But it was Chandra Haasan who always kept it in check."

Talking about his interaction with Chandra Haasan, Rajinikanth revealed that though he had met the senior producer only twice, he knew that Chandra Haasan was Kamal's pillar of strength. Rajini further added, "My friend Kamal Haasan doesn't have the kind of money the actors of this generation have now. It's an unfortunate fact that I need to admit. But he never cared about it, and the reason was Chandra Haasan. I'm concerned about how Kamal is going to take care of his hard-earned money without Chandra Haasan's presence."

Rajinikanth further added that filmmakers K Balachandar, Ananthu, Chandra Haasan and Charu Haasan were the four lifelines in Haasan's life. "Three of them have passed away but their spirits will always be with him to bless him. We are all there for you, Kamal," Rajinikanth said.

Reminiscing about his brother Chandra, Kamal said, "He was an honest Indian and lived true to his conscience. It is because of him that I stand here as a proud taxpayer now. He considered me as his son. He used to expertly pass off an 'advice' as 'opinion.' I always felt fortunate to have him as my brother."

"Rajinikanth talked about my pillars in life. My brothers taught me how to behave as a 'brother'. Now, I have many brothers who know the art of money-making and filmmaking. Rajinikanth is also one such brother," Kamal Haasan asserted.
