Kangana Ranaut: Mumbai is relatively safer than other places

Kangana Ranaut at a recent city event revealed that she feels that Mumbai is relatively safer as compared to other cities in India
Kangana Ranaut who plays Julia in her next film, 'Rangoon' at a recent event revealed that she feels that Mumbai is relatively safer than any other city in Mumbai.

Talking at an event hosted especially for Mumbai Police, Umang 2017, the actress said, "Though we can't say Mumbai is entirely safe and sound but it is relatively safer than other places. Other cities are quite in a hazardous situation."

Kangana plays a fearless whip-brandishing actress, Julia in her next film 'Rangoon'. Talking about the warm response that the film has received, the actress said, "We will start promoting the film next week. The entire team of 'Rangoon' and I feel happy that the trailer is being appreciated. Especially for the song 'Bloody Hell'. People have never seen me dance in this way. I feel very happy for that."

Set during World War II, 'Rangoon' is a period romance directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The film is supposedly inspired by the life and times of Mary Ann Evans aka Fearless Nadia, Bollywood's original stuntwoman, who is remembered for role in the movie 'Hunterwali'. Starring Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles, 'Rangoon' is all set to release on February 24.
