Karan Johar blasts trolls over ‘Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi’ controversy!

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan welcomed their first baby boy, Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on December 20. While the couple has been flooded with good wishes, they are also getting bashed by internet trolls for their choice of baby’s name, Taimur Ali Khan. While few celebrities have supported the couple on the choice of name for their child, many have questioned it.

However, Kareena’s BFF and director, Karan Johar recently slammed the internet trolls for outraging over the name. Karan Johar said, “It’s a proud moment for a wonderful family and there should be no trolls.” He also added that it is their prerogative what they name their son and that the “name is special to the parents, to the grandparents, and to the entire family.”

Karan came forth in the support of the family and said, “We should have spread the love at that moment. I felt so happy for this couple that delivered the blue-eyed beautiful baby boy. What has happened is really ridiculous and it’s their decision what they name their child and it should be nobody else’s prerogative. Having said that the internet is the place where everybody is entitled to giving an opinion, so fine, they expressed it and that’s what a troll is.”
