Contrary to the rumours about Karan Johar launching Salman Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma in Bollywood, reports now suggest that Aayush will make his debut with a film produced by Salman Khan Films.

Earlier, there were reports that Karan is planning to revive the project 'Raat Baaki', which was to star Fawad Khan and Katrina Kaif but was shelved post the Uri attacks debacle. Apparently, the filmmaker was also in talks with Aayush on the same and met him quite often as he wanted to roll out the film early next year.

However, a source close to a leading daily now informs that Karan has passed on the project to Salman Khan Films. The source said, "But creative differences emerged between Aayush, Salman, Karan and the director. Now, Aayush will star in another film. The details are being worked out and it's likely to roll later this year."

The film will go on floors once Salman returns from the 'Tiger Zinda Hai' shoot in Morrocco. While the title is still being contemplated, Katrina has been finalised for the film and will begin shooting for the same soon. Salman is looking at releasing the film in December next year.

Confirming the same, Arpita Khan Sharma said, "Karan will be part of all projects Aayush does. We will continue to seek his advice, even if he is not producing the film. We share a close bond."
