Karan Johar’s next directorial to star Ranbir Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan?

Rumours mills are abuzz with reports of Ranbir Kapoor signing on to do a yet another Karan Johar directorial. They two first joined hands on 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', the film marked Karan's entry as a director in the 100 crore club. And now, if reports are anything to go by then, Karan is soon to direct a film starring Ranbir and Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.
A report in Deccan Chronicle suggests that the filmmaker's next will be a love that involves two brothers that will reportedly be Shah Rukh and Ranbir. There are also reports that Karan is considering Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif to play the female lead in the film.
However, there is no confirmation as yet from the filmmaker. Considering that Ranbir and Deepika have had a healthy work relation even post their break-up, Deepika has an upper hand in being cast for the film as opposed to Katrina who post her break-up with Ranbir has had issues for promoting their next, 'Jagga Jasoos'. Shah Rukh shares a good work relation with both, Deepika and Katrina. Thus if Shah Rukh and Ranbir are signed on the film, Karan will manage to pull yet another casting coup of sorts.
