Trouble for Sanjay Leela Bhansali over the ‘Padmavati’ row seems
Trouble seems to be unending for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’. The film that stars Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the lead, has been hitting the roadblock quite often. Troubles for the film started when a leading daily in its report suggested that Deepika, who plays the titular role, and Ranveer, who plays Alauddin Khilji, will have an intimate dream sequence in the film.

This report angered a certain section of people as they blamed SLB for distortion of historical facts. SLB was assaulted during ‘Padmavati’ shoot in Jaipur which was followed by protest from the Karni Sena. Recently, the ‘Padmavati’ sets were set on fire in Kolhapur and the makers had to face the loss of costumes and properties. (Also Read: Fresh trouble for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’)

While Bollywood comes in full support of the filmmaker and condemns the act by Karni Sena, Bhansali Productions has filed a complaint against the miscreants who caused them the loss. While the investigation is still on, Karni Sena yet again took on the roads to protest against making of ‘Padmavati’. They also burnt an effigy of the filmmaker while protesting against the film.
