Kate Winslet: I once cut off a part of my friend's ear

Kate Winslet is famous for her role as 'Rose' in the blockbuster Hollywood film 'Titanic'. The actress has mesmerized us with her beauty and acting skills throughout the years. But did you know that there was a time when Kate feared she wouldn't make it in the Hollywood film industry? So, she did what most people do and came up with a backup plan. And what was that plan you ask? Well, she decided to try her luck at cutting hair.
In an interview at a leading show, the actress stated that she started out cutting her own hair, and she eventually graduated to cutting the hair of a family friend, an adult man. Unfortunately for that guy, it didn’t work out. According to Kate, she accidentally cut off a part his ear. The actress recalled, “I actually saw it fall.” She added that it was a little nick and not a chunk of his ear. But clearly, she was very traumatized after the incident. Today, however, they both laugh about the incident. Her friend apparently says that the incident is his claim to fame.
