Katrina Kaif backs out of an awards show, here's why!

Katrina Kaif, who was all set to perform live at an award show on Saturday, has backed out at the last moment, owing to a back injury she incurred on the sets of ‘Jagga Jasoos’. According to reports, a heavy object fell on Katrina’s back while she was shooting for the film, leaving her back severely injured.
While rehearsing for her performance on Thursday, Katrina felt a sharp pain in her back which initially tried to resist. However, it kept getting worse and reached a point where Kat could no longer bear it and thus, had to cancel her schedule. She then paid a visit to her doctor who advised her to get complete bed rest.
Talking about pulling out of the show at the last moment, Katrina’s spokesperson said, “Katrina Kaif will no longer be performing at the show, due to an accident she met with on the sets (of Jagga Jasoos).The doctors have advised her rest and to strictly avoid any strenuous physical activity or exertion.”
He further added, “Katrina is extremely disappointed that she will not be able to work through the injury. She is recuperating and will resume work shortly after a period of rest.”
