Will Salman rope in Katrina as the lead in ‘Race 3’?

Salman Khan has taken over as the lead in the third installment of the ‘Race’ series that initially had Saif Ali Khan starring as the lead in the first two installments. Now that Salman is on board, the actor has made some major changes to the film’s cast and crew. Directors Abbas-Mustan were dropped from the project and Remo D’Souza has been helmed in instead. Salman is now extremely eager to make this installment a huge success at the box office.

According to a source, apparently, Katrina Kaif will be roped in for the movie as well. The film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez as one of the leading ladies. A source close to the film revealed, “There are three leading men and two leading ladies in ‘Race 3’. So there’s a very strong role for another actress. Salman is very keen to get Katrina on board.”

Even though the film is being produced by Ramesh Taurani, it is Salman who is apparently calling all the shots on the project. A source close to the project revealed, “When Salman decided to come on board for ‘Race 3’ he brought director Remo D’Souza with him, and Abbas-Mustan, who directed the first two films in the series, were dropped. Salman has a say in every department of ‘Race 3’ — from the casting and the music to the locations! If he wants Katrina in the film, she is bound to be in the film.”
