As Section 377 got abolished on Thursday, India rewrote history by rejecting a 156-year old colonial law and decriminalising gay sex. The landmark verdict seems to have rung right with most in the country and much like us, our celebs seem to be glad about the decriminalising of the Section too by the SC! The verdict has been welcomed with open arms by many and one of them also happens to be actress, Kriti Sanon.

The actress welcomed the verdict and said, "Everyone has the right to be who they want to be, to recognise their sexuality and love who they want to love without being judged! Love has no rules or conditions and that's how it should be! This is the India we should be! This was a much-needed step and I am thrilled that it’s finally happened! A few of my closest friends (who are also my staff) are gay and I would love to see them get married!"

Much like Kriti, several other celebrities also gladly opened up about how they felt about this verdict. Let us know what your thoughts are on the matter!
