After the failure of ‘Rangoon’ at the box office, director and music composer Vishal Bhardwaj is taking tiny steps ahead and planning something in small scale compared to his last movie. Apparently if reports are to be believed, he is making a small-budget comedy movie starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead and Kriti Sanon would be cast opposite him. After the success of ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, Kriti Sanon would definitely be wanting to focus more on small budget comedies, especially after the failure of ‘Raabta’.

However according to a leading news portal, it will have Aditi Rao Hydari and not Kriti Sanon who will play the lead in the untitled movie. Vishal wanted Kriti Sanon as the lead, but things did not come to a conformity between Kriti and the makers, so Aditi was the found as a replacement. Apparently Aditi is in talks with the makers and is most probably to sign the dotted lines.

This will be the first time Aditi Rao Hydari and Nawazudin Siddiqui will be sharing screen space in a movie. Aditi was last seen in ‘Bhoomi’, where she played Sanjay Dutt's daughter in his comeback movie. Though the movie did not fare well at the box office and received unexpected response from the fans, her performance got a reasonably good feedback. Nawazuddin meanwhile continues to be on a roll delivering one excellent performance after another. His last ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’, where he played the main lead, landed in trouble with the Censor Board for its lovemaking scenes and unique content.

It will be interesting to know what Vishal Bhardwaj is planning next.
