Kylie Jenner’s tryst into the beauty industry can be best described as accidental. Her infamous pouty lips led to Kylie dropping Kylie Cometics Lip Kits, which have a reputation of selling out minutes after their launched. Her almost billion dollar industry also safeguarded her in Forbes list of Youngest Self-Made Billionares. ( controversies aside.) Clearly the makeup mogul is doing something right, and she’s cashing on to it, hard.
Kylie Jenner seems to shave now shift her lane in the skincare lane. Kylie will be launching Kylie Skin on the 22nd of this month.
The skincare brand will debut with six face-focused products packaged in cute, millennial pink, that promise to make your skin brighter and your Instagram feed a tad cuter.
All her new products will be under $30 and a bundle of all the products would damage you wallet with $125. In an Instagram story, Kylie revealed, that keeping the line affordable and effective was her biggest endeavours.
The first launch will see an eye cream, a walnut face scrub, a foaming face wash, a vanilla milk toner, a vitamin C serum and a rich facial moisturiser. Jenner also stated in the IG story that the first collection is suitable for all skin types so anyone and everyone can use it.
Her future plans for the skincare line would be coming up with more personalised skincare products that target certain issues.
Jenner's favorite product in the first Kylie Skin drop is the face moisturizer, which she wears under her makeup like a priming base. She noted that it's purposefully thick because she wants her face cream to feel like its doing something when she applies it.
While it's a separate company that has its own site and Instagram feed, Kylie Skin shares both the Kylie Cosmetics aesthetic and its commitment to offering an assortment of products so you can look and feel your best.
