Mallika Sherawat tear-gassed and beaten up in Paris

In a horrific attack by three masked intruders, Indian actress Mallika Sherawat was tear-gassed and beaten up in a neighbourhood in Paris. On November 11 Mallika and her French boyfriend, Cyrille Auxenfans, returned to their apartment, located in the upmarket arrondissement in Paris, at around 9:30 in the night.
On returning home, the two were attacked by three masked intruders, whose motive was unknown. A report in the Daily Mail stated that the actress was attacked in the same neighbourhood where a month ago Kim Kardashian was robbed at gun point.
A police spokesperson, talking about the attack said, “A full investigation to find the assailants is underway.” The two have suffered minor injuries, and the case is being investigated. What adds to their plight is the fact that the motive behind the attack is not clear. There was nothing that is assertive as of now as there the intruders have not robbed anything from the house.
