Manav Kaul opens up about Vidya Balan's role in 'Tumhari Sulu'

Actor Manav Kaul will be seen starring alongside Vidya Balan in the upcoming film 'Tumhari Sulu'. The actor who thinks he bagged a dream role with this movie says that he had a very clear idea of what he was getting into before signing the film. He made it clear that he knew that the movie was Vidya's canvas and he had no insecurities about that at all.
He said, “I have enough space, but of course, 'Tumhari Sulu' is purely Vidya’s film. She’s the backbone of the film. But I’m glad Suresh (Triveni, the director) has written an interesting part for me as well. I have huge respect for Vidya. There was no sense of insecurity being a part of this movie". Manav has been part of the film industry for a long time now however, it is not often that we spot him on the big screen. He's often done negative roles and playing the role of Vidya's husband seemed like a rather refreshing change to him.
He said, “I was very patient and waiting for something like this to happen. I was doing roles with grey shades and negative ones because of 'Kai Po Che' and 'Wazir'. I was bored with that and wanted to do something new. So when I got a call for this film, I loved the script and pounced on it".
