#MeToo: Aamir Khan attends a special meeting for safer working culture at the Producers Guild

The #MeToo movement has caught on yet again and the consequences of the movement have taken not just the industry but the entire nation by storm. One by one, a list of names of known actors has emerged against whom there are allegations of sexual assault. Post the rise of the #MeToo movement in India, the Producers Guild of India decided to set up a committee to support the cause. Now, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao have attended a special meeting at the Producers Guild.
The meeting was held to discuss the steps that can be taken in making the industry a safer place for women, on Wednesday afternoon. They discussed measures that would help women who work in the industry. Aamir has always known to be an active contributor towards issues pertaining to the film fraternity. This is not the first time the actor has stepped up in support of a cause.
