Mira Rajput: I was bashing Bollywood not knowing Shahid was there to see me

Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput graced the couch last night on Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’. Since it was Mira’s television debut, this was the first time we got to see them getting candid on television and they sure gave away a lot. From talking about initially being apprehensive about their age difference to talking about the times they sleep naked, the couple truly made some surprising revelations.

Well, and do you guys know that Mira did not know what was going on when they first met? Talking about the experience Mira said, “We met through family. Both our families follow the same path. Our path and our faith is very important to us. I think that is what we like in each other and that is why we get along. The first time we met was at a cousin's house. I didn't know he was there to see me and I was like, bashing Bollywood, saying what are these item numbers and blah blah. I know all others there might have been worried as they knew what was happening."

When Shahid’s parents sent the marriage proposal for Mira, Mira’s parents thought they meant Shahid’s half brother Ruhaan Kapoor who is around the same age as Mira. However, they got surprised when they clarified that it was for Shahid and Mira.
