Movies that you definitely should not miss in 2017!
While 2016 had some great movies, 2017 to promises some great entertainment. Here are some of the movies that you definitely should not miss in 2017!



Raees

Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, 'Raees' is an action thriller, which has been inspired by the life of Abdul Latif, the famous bootlegger from Gujarat. Directed by Rahul Dholakia, 'Raees' will release on January 25.

Kaabil
The story of a blind man who is out to seek revenge, 'Kaabil' stars Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam in the lead. Helmed by Sanjay Gupta, 'Kaabil' is produced by Filmkraft, and is all set to release on 25th January.

Jolly LLB2
A sequel to 2013 hit, 'Jolly LLB', this comedy-courtroom-drama is directed by Subhash Kapoor. Starring Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi in the lead role, this film is slated to release on February 10.

Rangoon
Set against the backdrop of a war, 'Rangoon' is a poignant love story starring Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in the lead. A period romance drama directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, 'Rangoon' is scheduled for release on 24th February.

Badrinath Ki Dulhania
The second instalment in the hit Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' franchise. This film once again brings together the pairing of Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' is slated for release on 10th March.

Jagga Jasoos
The pairing of Ranbir and Katrina Kaif has created a tremendous excitement amongst the audience. Directed by Anurag Basu, Jagga Jasoos stars Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the lead. Jagga Jasoos releases on 7th April.

Bahubali 2

One of the most eagerly awaited films of 2017, this directorial by SS Rajamouli is expected to release on 28th April. This sequel will hopefully answer one of the most pressing questions- 'Kattapa ne Bahubali ko kyu maara?'

Tubelight
A historical war drama, 'Tubelight' is written and directed by Kabir Khan Set against the backdrop of 1962 Sino-Indian war, Tubelight stars Salman Khan and Chinese superstar, Zhu Zhu in the lead. While the exact date of release is not confirmed, 'Tubelight' is expected to release on Eid 2017.

Secret Superstar
Debutant Advait Chandan’s 'Secret Superstar' revolves around the life of a child, who aspires to be a singer and has Aamir Khan playing the role of a music mentor. This film is scheduled to release on 10th August.

Imtiaz Ali's untitled next

Tentatively titled, 'The Ring' is a story of a free-spirited Punjabi tourist, who falls in love with her guide while looking for her lost engagement ring across Europe. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles and is to release on 11th August.

Simran
Starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead, 'Simran' is a Bollywood drama directed by Hansal Mehta. 'Simran' will be Kangana's solo-lead film after 2015-hit, 'Queen'. Simran is supposed to release on 15th September.

Judwa 2
A sequel to the 1997 hit, 'Judwa', this film will be directed by David Dhawan. Starring Varun Dhawan, Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead, this movie is set to release on 29th September 2017.

Padmavati
Slated to release on November 17, Padmavati is a dramatised account of the 1303 siege of the Chittor fort, which led to the much spoken about 'Rani Padmini ka Johar'. Starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the lead, this period drama is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Sanjay Dutt's biopic
This film has been surrounded by controversies since it was announced! This movie will see Ranbir Kapoor portray Sanjay Dutt, and RK Jr has started his prep for the same. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Dutt's biopic is all set to release on Christmas.
