Nana Patekar to play lead in Ajay Devgn’s next Marathi venture

Actor Ajay Devgn is all set to enter into Marathi cinema. Announcing the title of his first Marathi production venture as 'Aapla Manus', he confessed falling in love with the language after marrying actress Kajol.


"I have completed 25 years in the film industry. Every time I have done a new film and a new character but the relationship with you all is still the same. Similarly, I have a relation with Maharashtra since my birth. I have always had respect for Marathi language but after marrying Kajol, I got in love with the language. Because of this culture, Marathi cinema has its own following. To join this industry, I am coming up with my first Marathi film Aapla Manus.”




Earlier Ajay also shared a picture from the first stay shoot on Instagram in which Kajol is seen clapping.




The actor will next be seen in ‘Raid’ alongside Ileana D’Cruz. Ajay will play an income tax officer in the Dussehra, the film will have a 2018 release.
