Nana Patekar to play the antagonist in Rajinikanth's 'Kaala'

According to recent reports, Bollywood actor Nana Patekar will soon be seen locking horns with superstar Rajinikanth in his upcoming Tamil gangster drama 'Kaala'.

A source close to the development revealed, "Nana ji plays a conniving, ruthless politician and he takes Rajinikanth head on. It's a very powerful role and audiences are going to love the face-off between him and Rajini sir."

The source further revealed that Rajinikanth will be seen fighting for equal rights of Tamilians in Mumbai against Nana's political party. Rajinikanth has shot for his portions in Mumbai and will join the sets in the next schedule soon.

Directed by Pa. Ranjith, 'Kaala Kaarikalan' stars Huma Qureshi, Anjali Patil, Samuthirakani and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles. This project marks the second collaboration between Pa Ranjith and Rajinikanth after 'Kabali'. Produced by son-in-law Dhanush, he is also rumoured to be making a cameo in the film.
