When faces you have seen countless of times become strangers again on screen, that’s when you know you are witnessing an extraordinary performance. Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has brought some of the greatest characters to life on the silver screen and while many actors today want to do more and more biopics to become the one who tells the story of our heroes to the masses, Nawazuddin has no such interests.

Talking about not being inclined towards doing biopics, the actor asserted, “I have no such dreams. Biopics in Bollywood are corrupted by commercial elements! The life of the person it’s based on should be shown as it is. You cannot make it keeping an eye on the box office and introduce commercial elements like songs and dance. That’s not a biopic; it’s better you make another film, instead. Biopic is a serious job, it’s not easy — the film on Gandhi was a true biopic.”

The actor is not afraid of taking up challenges and is all set to showcase his dance moves for the first time in ‘Munna Michael’, that too next to ace dancer Tiger Shroff. “A person is not born a dancer or actor. Everything comes with practice. Tiger has practised so much in his life, he does it with ease today. I have also practised for this film. I love doing things that are out of my comfort zone. It is exciting,” said Nawazuddin.

And it doesn’t just end at just dance, the actor is all for picking up the mic and singing if the script demands him to! “Why not, if I’m offered a film that requires me to sing, I will do that,” said the actor before signing off. Are you excited to watch him shake a leg in ‘Munna Michael’?
