Actress Neena Gupta had made the headlines after she had her daughter Masaba, out of wedlock with West Indies cricketer Vivian Richards. Not only did people condemn Neena for being a single mother, they also slammed Masaba for being a so-called "illegitimate" child. Recently, Masaba had taken to Twitter to share her opinion on the fire-cracker ban, when she became the latest victim of internet trolls. The trollers stooped to a new low, calling Masaba names like “B*****d child" or "illegitimate West Indian" for supporting the ban on firecrackers.

Following this Masaba took to her social media accounts to share a very dignified response with the people. Here's what she wrote:

Speaking about this topic with a leading entertainment portal, Masaba's mom Neena stated, "It doesn’t annoy me at all. People who have nothing to do and are jealous of you want to malign you, such people are everywhere, it’s not surprising at all. I am very happy with her response; I really liked the way she wrote it." When asked if the actress gets affected by all the negativity that surrounds her she stated, "I am not affected at all because I didn’t read it, because I am not on twitter."
