Here's why Kareena turned down a role opposite Shah Rukh in Aanand L Rai's next

Filmmaker Aanand L Rai’s movie starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma has gone on floors and the audience is eager to watch the ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ trio recreate their magic on screen. However, did you know that Anushka was not the first choice of the makers for the role?
While there were reports that the makers were initially considering Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt for the role, one name from the list was somehow left out and never spoken about. It was Kareena Kapoor Khan who was the first choice of the makers for the role. Talking about this, a source revealed, “The filmmaker offered the role to Kareena, but her dates were clashing with ‘Veerey Di Wedding’. Also, she did not want to start shooting immediately post motherhood as she wanted to lose all the weight that she had gained. That’s how Rai approached Anushka for the role and she was on board.”
That is interesting, isn’t it? Co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions, the movie is scheduled to hit the theatres in December 2018.
