Omung Kumar on reports of Kareena rejecting his next: I have no idea

Recently there were reports that ‘Ki & Ka’ actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan had been approached for Omung Kumar’s film next project, which was supposed to be a biopic. Reports further suggested that while Kareena had liked the script and the talks were on.

In fact, talking to a leading daily, a source close to the project had said, “Omung has wanted to work with Kareena for quite some time and he has finally found the right script for her. It’s a biopic and the actress and filmmaker will soon sit for a round of narrations. Then Bebo will take a call on the film.” When quizzed Kareena about the same, the actress had neither denied nor confirmed the reports.

However, as per a recent report, Bebo had apparently rejected the film owing to scripting issues. The reports suggested, “Kareena had issues with the script and she told Omung very politely that she won’t be doing the biopic. She has been reading a lot of scripts but hasn’t green lighted anything after Veere Di Wedding.”

When reached out to Omung Kumar, the ace director revealed that he no idea about such a biopic. The director signed off saying, “Which biopic, what script… I have no idea…”
