Pahlaj Nihalani: ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ should be made tax-free

Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ is an upcoming satirical comedy movie which revolves around Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governmental campaign, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The movie will throw light on the importance of the reduction of open defecation in public areas, especially in the rural areas of India.

Pahlaj Nihalani, the chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), recently watched the trailer of the movie and later took to his Twitter handle and tweeted that the movie should be made tax-free as it promotes a social cause. Check out his tweet here:


Helmed by Shree Narayan Singh and co-produced by Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey, the movie also stars Anupam Kher and Sana Khan in significant roles and is slated to release on 11th August.
