Parineeti Chopra slams Kailash Khar and Armaan Malik: Who decides what I can do and can’t do?
Recently, Sonakshi Sinha was embroiled in a controversy over her performance at the Justin Bieber concert soon to be held in Mumbai. What followed was a Twitter war between Sonakshi and singer Armaan Malik. Armaan called out the actress as she was supposedly performing the opening act at the Justin Bieber concert. Sonakshi later refuted the rumours of her performing at the Justin Bieber concert, and slammed Armaan for his comments on Twitter. Armaan was later joined by other singers who too took to the social media site and lashed out at the actress.

However, Sonakshi now finds a supporter in Parineeti Chopra who herself is a trained classical singer. Parineeti made her singing debut in 'Meri Pyaari Bindu' and fails to understand why are there issues in regards to actors singing.

Parineeti said, "When I am acting, no one has a problem. When I am dancing, no professional dancer has complained. When I crack a joke, I haven’t heard any professional comedian complain. I wear designer clothes, but fashion designers don’t have a problem and when I do action, the stuntpersons don’t raise objections. Then why this hue-and-cry about actors singing?"

She further added, "Are we saying that if I am an actor, I should only act in a film? Who decides what I can do and can’t do? Where does this debate end? And why are we having it?"

Talking about her inclination towards singing, Parineeti continued, "Singing is an integral part of the entertainment experience. I feel we all need to know a bit of everything to be complete entertainers. And I want to know more about the singer in me."
