Parineeti Chopra is undoubtedly one of the most talented and versatile actresses in the Bollywood industry. The actress has a rather impressive list of films in her kitty and she never ceases to impress us with her spectacular performances. Currently, Parineeti is busy shooting in London for the Hindi adaptation of 'The Girl On The Train'. The actress took to her social media accounts to unveil her first looks from the film and let's just say they'll leave you super intrigued.

'The Girl On The Train' is based on the Hollywood film of the same name which revolved around a divorced woman played by Emily Blunt who idolises a married couple that she sees during her daily commute to work. However, when she notices something out of the ordinary one day, she is unwillingly dragged into a deadly game of cat and mouse. The film is based on a novel of the same name by Paula Hawkins.

Taking to her social media handles, Parineeti put up the pictures and captioned them, "Something I’ve never done before. And the most difficult character I have ever played in my life." While in one photo we see her sitting disheveled in a bathtub, her forehead damp with blood from a wound, in the other picture, we find traces of a raging alcoholic struggling to find a grip on her life.

While announcing the project, Parineeti had said, "I want to do roles that audiences haven't seen me in before and ones that require a lot of prep and homework, which is why 'The Girl On The Train' really worked for me. The character is an alcoholic and a victim of abuse, and I haven't explored anything like her on-screen before." The Hindi remake of the film also stars Aditi Rao Haydari, Kirti Kulhari, Avinash Tiwari and Vishakh Vadgama in pivotal roles and is being helmed by Ribhu Dasgupta.

On the work front, Parineeti also has 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' with Arjun Kapoor, 'Bhuj: The Pride Of India' and Saina Nehwal's biopic. Stay tuned for more updates.
