Pleading seasickness, Sanjay Leela Bhansali aborts scheduled 'Padmaavat' success party

Do you'll remember when we brought to you'll news regarding the success bash for 'Padmaavat'? The bash was supposed to be aboard a luxury cruiser off the Mumbai shores on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's birthday, the 24th of February. However, looks like plans have changed. The director recently dropped a bomb and looks like that changed everything.
A source said, “The (production house) team had planned the party and even sent out invites to VIP guests. But then when he got to know about it, he regrettably opted out of the big plans pleading seasickness.” So, does that mean the party is cancelled? Well, we’re sad to say that, that's a big fat 'yes'. 'Padmaavat' was a huge success with the audience, much like we expected it to be and even though the film had one hell of a rocky start, it has broken box-office records and the characters played by Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor have garnered much praise too.
Well, we bet a success bash is coming soon. It just won't be aboard a super-cool ship!
