Post surgery Rakesh Roshan is recovering well, informs Rajesh Roshan

It was just yesterday that Hrithik Roshan took to social media to announce that his father and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has been diagnosed with ‘early-stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat’. This shocked the entire nation and Bollywood and fans alike, took to social media to pray for the filmmaker's health and well-being. Prime Minister Narendra Modi retweeted the post shared by the actor and wrote that he is praying for the filmmaker's good health too.
Now, Rakesh Roshan’s brother and veteran music director, Rajesh Roshan, informed a leading daily newspaper that his brother is doing well and recovering from the operation he had yesterday. “He is better now and recovering well. We were all very tense about the surgery and the entire family was in the hospital with him. God willing, he will be up in the next three days and should be discharged from the hospital,” informed Rajesh Roshan.
Post the surgery, Hrithik even replied to the Prime Minister's tweet saying, “Thank you Sir for your concern and good wishes. I am very happy to inform that according to the doctors his surgery has gone off well.”
