Priyanka Chopra flies to Jordan, for UNICEF

Priyanka visits Syrian children in Jordan

Actress Priyanka Chopra is the most sought after film star in not just the Bollywood film industry, but also abroad. From traveling to Hollywood to star in her own show, to being appointed as UNICEF’s goodwill ambassador, Priyanka has constantly been making the headlines.  The saying is ‘With great power comes great responsibility’ and PeeCee has proved this time and again by using her stardom and resources to help people throughout the world.

On Saturday, the actress headed to Jordan for UNICEF to help the Syrian children who are refugees.  Priyanka shared a picture of herself as she landed in Jordan and shared an important message.

Her caption reads as, “Let’s take this trip together… let’s open our eyes and our hearts to the #ChildrenUprooted in the Syrian Refugee crisis. This will be our #MissionForChildren. Let’s show them that the world cares and help them find a way forward.. come along with me.. I’ll update as much as I can and in as much detail as I can… @Unicef #PCInJordan #syrianrefugees #ChildrenOfSyria.”

Priyanka also shared another photo from her trip where she is seen wearing an army green jacket and blue jeans. The caption she shared was beautiful and inspiring.

Her caption reads as, “With everything that’s happening in the world around us, it’s important to look forward with hope and love…. that’s what I’ve brought with me to #Jordan along with the resolve to help us understand these amazing survivors and how we can all do our part to help them. Keep u posted #MissionForChildren #ChildrenUprooted #PCInJordan.”

At the end of the day, the actress posted one last photo of herself where she stood in the middle of the road with her back facing the camera. Her jacket had the phrase ‘Never Say Never’ which was both powerful and motivating.

Her caption reads as, “Beautiful #Jordan a host country to millions of refugees.. let’s open our hearts and figure out how we can help .. will keep you posted as I meet these incredible survivors @Unicef #neversaynever Picture credit: @natashapal.”

On Sunday morning the actress posted a video of herself on Instagram while she was on the way to meet the children.
