Priyanka Chopra gets slammed by a prominent filmmaker

Priyanka Chopra seems unstoppable. She is one of the biggest Bollywood celebrities and now has successfully established herself in the West as well. Millions consider her as their role model and she continues to make India more and more proud with every passing day.

Recently, the actress appeared on an American chat show hosted by Chelsea Handler. In a candid chat, PeeCee said that India doesn’t get the concept of weekend. She further added that the only time she comes to India is when she gets weekends off from ‘Quantico’, to complete her pending work.

Apparently there are some people who took offence to this statement. A prominent filmmaker commented:

“I hear she’s turning down projects in India to focus on her career in the US, which is fine. Now she declares on American television that she returns to India only on weekends to complete her work and that too because she gets time off from her American series. Since she really doesn’t have any films to complete in India, I suggest she concentrate on consolidating her career in America. We’ll manage without her somehow.”
