Priyanka Chopra is not suing Nirav Modi, says spokesperson

Priyanka Chopra and Sidhart Malhotra had made quite the pair when the duo had appeared together for an advertisement for Nirav Modi jewels. The audience clearly wanted the duo to get back together on-screen but now it looks like they may have to wait a while. Recently news broke out that Priyanka Chopra had decided to sue Nirav Modi accusing him of not making her payment for the ad campaign. It was even stated that following the allegations against Nirav, even Sidhart had decided to opt out of the campaign.

Now, Priyanka’s spokesperson has made a statement on her behalf and has rubbished rumours of going to court against Nirav. “There are speculative reports that Priyanka Chopra has sued Nirav Modi. This is not true. However, she is currently seeking legal opinion with respect to terminating her contract with the brand in light of allegations of financial fraud against Nirav Modi,” the spokesperson said. This news had come out just a little while after the Punjab National Bank fraud had come to light. Nirav was also named in the fraud. Stay tuned for more updates.
