Priyanka Chopra opens up about flak over 10-year age gap with husband Nick Jonas

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas might just be the most beloved celebrity couple right now but that doesn't mean the duo does not have some haters. While everyone is going absolutely gaga over the two and how amazing they look together, apparently the 10-year age gap between Priyanka and Nick doesn't seem to sit well with some people. Priyanka is 36 while husband Nick is 26. The actress recently gave an interview where she called out such gender biases that most women have to deal with.
"People gave us a lot of shit about that and still do. I find it really amazing when you flip it and the guy is older, no one cares and actually people like it," she said to a magazine. Speaking about her career and the world outside of it, she said, "I want to change the world a little bit. My big endgame is creating a formidable career and legacy for myself, but at the same time I want to have moved something."
When asked about wanting kids, she said, "I want my existence to have meant something. I want my kids to turn around and be like, 'Yeah, that was my mom.'" Well, we're sure Peecee's kids are going to be super proud of their mum.
The actress had also recently spoken about facing criticism for posting pictures of her wedding with Nick on social media. She said, "If I wasn't a famous person and I'd just got married, don't you think my Insta would have photos of me and my husband? Just because I'm famous, don't I have the ability to be proud of being a newlywed without people saying that I'm using my marriage? I gave up my right to privacy when I became a public person, it's the deal you make with the devil. But trust me, there are lots of things I still keep personal."
