Priyanks Vs Deepika! Who will be the leading lady in ‘Love In Beijing’?

Deepika and Priyanka are the two women who crushed the perception that two actresses cannot be friends. They were spotted chilling together at several award shows and were captured together at their candid best in Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’. But the friendship couldn’t last for too long. Apparently, the fact that PeeCee is paid more than Deepika didn’t go down too well with the Dippy. She even decided not to wish Priyanks on her birthday. Some heat right?

And now, to add fuel to the fire, the two are in the race to bag the lead role in Siddharth Anand’s indo-china project ‘Love in Beijing’. The movie will be a love story between a Chinese man and an Indian girl. Sidharth is considering Chinese actor Deng Chao as the male lead. As for the leading lady, he wants an actress who is already a global icon.

He said, “Yes, it’s a cross-cultural romance set in Beijing. I’m excited to explore and showcase another culture through this film. Our Chinese producers have suggested Deng Chao’s name but we will take a final call when I visit China next month.”

“China is a big market and opening up to newer markets is an important part of the growth agenda.The film will have an A-list actress who already has an international presence.”
