Bollywood actor R Madhavan was recently at an event where he spoke about the Hindi remake of 'Vikram Vedha'. There were recently rumours that superstar Shah Rukh Khan was to play the negative character in the film which was originally essayed by Vijay Sethupathi. But Shah Rukh reportedly turned down the role stating that it’s an extremely layered and risky project to be made in Hindi. He also felt that this role would be very similar to his role in 'Fan' and thus he turned down the project.

When Madhavan was asked about who would play the lead in the film, the actor stated, “Some actor who will give us a great date and an enormous market. But it is too premature for me to talk about it. I don’t know whether I will be doing it also, because it is actually a burden of love more than a creative call. I have always shied away from remaking my own stuff in a different language, except from 'Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein'. But I can assure you that it is being made this year for sure.” Stay tuned for more updates.
