'Kaabil' and 'Raees', both have been granted a U/A certificate with four and six cuts respectively. Which film will you watch first?
Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan starrer 'Raees' will soon hit theatres on 25th January. The film has remained in news for over a year because of the controversies around it. The film was to release in 2016, but the makers postponed its release to 2017 as they were still working on the script. Post this, the cross-border tension between India and Pakistan led to Pak artistes ban. And hence, Mahira will not be promoting the film in India.

Initially, there were also reports that Shah Rukh had to resolve the matter with Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray and request him a tension-free release. However, with the film nearing its release, the last hurdle for the makers of 'Raees' was the Censor Board. But it comes as a relief for the makers of 'Raees' as the CBFC has cleared the film with six minor audio cuts. The film has been granted a U/A certificate by the CBFC. Considering Shah Rukh plays a gangster in the film, the recommended audio cuts will mostly be cuss words.

'Kaabil' and 'Raees', both have been granted a U/A certificate with four and six cuts respectively. Now it is left on the audiences to decide the fate of both these films. Will one will you watch first?
