Rajkumar Hirani: It is a pure joy to make films if we have actors like Ranbir Kapoor

Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani has a series of hits to his credit. Not only is the filmmaker an absolute delight to work with, but is also minimalistic in his approach of stardom. Rajkumar Hirani is currently working on good friend Sanjay Dutt's biopic that stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. The biopic will depict the various phases in Sanjay's life and will see Ranbir in different looks to fit the part.

At a recent event, the filmmaker was all praises for RK junior. Talking about Ranbir's prep for the Dutt biopic, Rajkumar said, "The only thing I can say is Ranbir, who is depicting Sanjay Dutt from the age of 20 to 55, has a lot of different get-ups. He has to wake up at 3 AM and then has to sit patiently for 5 hours for his make-up and then work rigorously for 12 hours."

The filmmaker further added, "I have never seen Ranbir coming late to the set on a single day or complaining about anything or giving excuses to leave from work. I am having absolute joy and I am really enjoying making this film. It is a pure joy to make films if we have actors like Ranbir Kapoor."

While the title of Sanjay Dutt's biopic remains undecided, the film along with Ranbir also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, and Vicky Kaushal. Recently there were also reports that the Rajkumar Hirani will be seen making his acting debut in the film.
