Rajkumar Hirani: For a long time, we have been waiting to work with Shah Rukh Khan

Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani is known to create magic on the silver screen, with his beautiful storylines and amazing scripts. It is a known fact that the filmmaker has also stated that he has wanted to work with Shah Rukh Khan for a long time, though no project is in the pipeline as of now. For quite some time the filmmaker has been wanting to work with the superstar.
"For a long time, we have been waiting to work with him. Every time we meet, we talk about working together. At the moment, there is nothing. But, hopefully, I would write a script," the filmmaker stated. There were reports that Rajkumar will be teaming up with Shah Rukh soon.
It was speculated that the filmmaker wanted to make his directorial debut, 'Munna Bhai MBBS' (2003) with Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. However, the actor turned the offer down. It is also said that Shah Rukh was Rajkumar’s first choice for the Aamir Khan-starrer '3 Idiots' as well.
