Rajkummar Rao on acting: It is something very pure, it's about dealing with pure emotions

Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao who is known for his critically acclaimed film, says that he has never let his ego come in between his acting career. Rajkummar has now been paired with actress Kangana Ranaut yet again for their upcoming quirky thriller 'Mental Hai Kya'. The duo was a hit pair when they had featured in the film 'Queen' so it's only natural that they're excited about starring in this new film. When asked if there would be ego clashes between him and Kangana, Rajkummar said, "No. Trust me, for me acting is not about ego. It is something very pure, it's about dealing with pure emotions.(So), how can you put your ego in that?"

The film is set to be helmed by National Award winning director Prakash Kovelamudi and will be produced by Ekta Kapoor. "We haven't started shooting yet. But I really like Kangana. We have done a film together, 'Queen', which is a cult. So, I am obviously looking forward to get to the sets now," Rajkummar added. Talking about his upcoming horror-comedy with Shraddha Kapoor, titled 'Stree', he said, "We are getting into the last schedule now. It is shaping up pretty well. I am really excited for the release.
