Actress Rakul Preet Singh who has worked in regional language films as well as excited about her Hindi film ‘Aiyaary’. She will be playing the role of a software engineer and will be paired opposite Sidharth Malhotra. But sometimes it happens that actors have an issue with their screen space in a film in an ensemble cast but the actress seems to be confident about her craft and choice of the film both. The actress is currently busy shooting with Ajay Devgn for her next.

The actress said, “It’s fine. I am not doing a love story, and neither am I living in a fool’s paradise. I know what I am doing. It’s a content-driven film where every role has its prominence. I would rather be a part of a film like this where content wins over screen time, any day. In Neeraj sir’s films, every character has his or her significance. Sonia, my character, is an intelligent and headstrong girl. She is an integral part of the core plot, and you will know what I mean when you watch the film. What else could I have asked for?”

The actress made her Hindi debut with ‘Yaariyan’ which was a hit film and it also featured Himansh Kohli. Now as per reports the release date of ‘Aiyaary’ has been shifted to 16th February, earlier it was supposed to clash with ‘PadMan’ on February 9 but now the Akshay Kumar film will have a solo release.

The film also stars Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Adil Hussain, Pooja Chopra and is supposed to hit the theaters on February 16th according to reports.
